I had no formal art education except that I have always been drawing and making since I can remember and only in the last ten years have I discovered the fantastic happy absorption of total dedication to painting and drawing.

The joys of looking at other people’s art and using the beauty all around to inspire colour and shape is an endless education. Maybe one day, I will paint with oil but I find the spontaneous acrylic suited to my personality as otherwise lover think and ruin pictures with over working.”
